Why M's System Now Declares Its Commitment to 'Sound Environment'

M's System has published its "Sound Environment Declaration."

This is not intended to announce new products or serve as a slogan to expand our business domain.

It is a declaration to clarify our stance—how we, as a company, will approach sound moving forward.

M's System has been creating and delivering speakers for over 25 years.
We take pride in our sincere commitment to sound quality, structure, materials, and design—pursuing sound as both technology and product.
However, we have repeatedly witnessed something in the field:
Even with the same sound source and equipment, people's reactions change completely when the space or situation changes.

A difference in experience that cannot be fully explained by simply saying sound is "good" or "bad."

This discrepancy led us to the next question:
Is sound truly something to be "listened to"?
Traditionally, sound has been discussed as an "object of listening."
But is that really all the sound we've been working with amounts to?

Sound spreads through space, vibrates the air, and acts directly on the human body.

When sound changes,
breathing changes.
Tension changes.
The depth of sleep changes.

We gradually came to believe that sound should not be viewed as something to "make people listen to," but as something that shapes the quality of space.

Why the term "Sound Environment"?

Volume and sound quality alone cannot explain this phenomenon.
What matters is:
How sound spreads
The presence or absence of directionality
The relationship with space
Sound as an environment where these elements combine.

We call this "Sound Environment."

Sound Environment affects people's concentration, recovery capacity, and even sleep quality.
This is not a matter of preference, but an issue that concerns the foundation of daily life.
As a company, addressing Sound Environment is not a simple matter.

It is difficult to measure, hard to quantify, and offers no immediate answers.

Nevertheless, we chose not to turn away from this question.

Because as a company that deals with sound, we believe we have a responsibility to address how we impact people's lives.

Sound Environment can be redesigned
We believe Sound Environment is not something "given to us," but something that can be redesigned.

In residential buildings, medical facilities, hotels, offices, and commercial spaces—everywhere—we can create Sound Environments where people feel less fatigued and recover more easily.

This is not a special luxury, but a necessary foundation for future society.

Moving forward, M's System will implement the concept of Sound Environment in society through our speaker products.

Not for selling, but for enhancing daily life.

Toward a world where people
can breathe naturally
within sound.

We, as a company, will uphold this declaration.
