About the Speaker

What Is a Wave-Motion Speaker?

A Cylindrical Speaker That Spreads Sound 360 Degrees

A wave-motion speaker is a speaker with a cylindrical body that radiates sound 360 degrees in all directions.

Conventional speakers use cone-shaped drivers that project sound forward. The sound changes depending on your listening position and angle, making you conscious of where the sound originates.

In a wave-motion speaker, sound radiates from drivers mounted on both ends of the cylinder, and the entire cylinder resonates, so that sound dissolves and spreads throughout the entire space.

Stereo from a Single Unit.

Unlike conventional speakers that require two units for left and right channels, a wave-motion speaker achieves stereo playback from a single unit. Wherever you sit or stand, you experience the same expansive sound.

Layered Paper, Shaped into a Cylinder

The body of a wave-motion speaker is made from multiple layers of paper, compressed and shaped into a cylinder — not carved from wood.

The fine vibrational characteristics of paper fibers give the sound softness and depth. Artisans finish each unit by hand, creating subtle curves that machines cannot replicate.

Surfaces are finished with maple, walnut, piano lacquer, urushi lacquer, and other natural materials, achieving a beautiful presence that complements any interior.

A Tool for Sound Environment Design

We do not call wave-motion speakers 'high-fidelity speakers.'

A wave-motion speaker is a tool for designing Sound Environment. Rather than pursuing volume or audio quality, we design how sound spreads through a space and how it embraces the mind and body.

Trusted by The Imperial Hotel, Isetan, Ginza Kiccho, Keiyū Hospital, and many more — adopted across hotels, restaurants, healthcare facilities, and offices nationwide to elevate the quality of 'Sound Environment.'

my whole body relaxed"
