History
Our History
Founded
After 19 and a half years in the men's fashion industry, Teruhito Miura established M's system, Inc. with the vision of 'transforming lives through sound.'

Meeting the Wave-Motion Speaker Inventor
A fateful encounter confirmed the potential of the wave-motion speaker. Natural sound spreading 360 degrees — it had the power to transform the space itself.
MS1001 Launch — A Pricing Promise
The flagship MS1001 was launched at around 120,000 yen. 'One speaker per household' — the promise to the inventor has never been broken since 2004. That same year, M's system received the Tokyo Metropolitan Government 'Management Innovation' certification.
Concert Without Performers Begins
No performers on stage. Only a speaker delivering music. Held over 400 times nationwide at venues including Suntory Hall and Tokyo International Forum, bringing Sound Environment to the visually impaired, earthquake survivors, and expectant mothers.

Great East Japan Earthquake
The manufacturing facility in Fukushima was damaged. Handcrafted production by skilled artisans was temporarily halted, but the commitment to craftsmanship never wavered, and production resumed.
Pandemic
COVID-19 reduced corporate orders to nearly zero. Exhibitions and showroom visits all ceased. Yet handcrafted manufacturing by skilled Japanese artisans continued.
As a Sound Environment Design Company
Adopted by The Imperial Hotel, Isetan, Ginza Kiccho, Keiyū Hospital, and clients across 13 industries. Since founding, 'handcrafted by skilled Japanese artisans' and 'pricing maintained since 2004' remain unchanged.

From the Hands of Japanese Artisans to Your Space
Every M's system product is handmade by skilled Japanese artisans. Maintaining our pricing since 2004 is how we keep the promise: 'one speaker per household.'
