Why Do Humans Love Music?

On Saturday, November 15th, I watched the intellectual exploration frontier program "Tamori & Yamanaka Shinya's!?" Episode 3 "Why Do Humans Love Music?" which aired on NHK General TV from 7:30 PM.

This nearly hour-and-a-half program explored "Why Do Humans Love Music?" from various angles, including research on music in the lives of forest peoples in Cameroon, Africa, Tamori's record collection at his home, and music that benefits dementia patients.

The conclusion was that humans feel good and experience pleasure from music because we "listen not just with our ears, but with our entire body."

The program verified that there are sounds that cannot be heard through earphones alone, and that humans can sense even inaudible sounds.

I'm very pleased that recognition has advanced one step further regarding the "Sound Air Conditioner" effect that we at M's System communicate and recommend.
