　　

I just got back from assignment in osaka shooting once more for the Ritz Carlton, as you may be aware of this, The Ritz Carlton is building the world's tallest Hotel in Hongkong and slated to open sometime in 2010. i hoped you will have the opportunity to supply the hotel with your fine speakers. Speaking of which, i finally found the time to set up my speaker Mine is hooked up with a vintage LEAK 12.1 valved amplifier and an Audio note preamplifier and a beautiful Shigeraki cd transport. a fairly high end system with Premium vaccum tubes! the speaker has been playing for nearly 20 mins and right out of the box it sounded very sweet! i am playing a cd that i bought from Osaka featuring some traditional Hongkyoku Shakuhachi music. i am very much amaze by the sound of this little speaker. it has a charactger unique to itself and i would agree with you as it sounded more like a musical instrument than a loudspeaker. how i would discribe the sound is simple, very sweet, plenty or air and hauntingly beautiful. what it lacks is the bass but this is not that important. this speaker is essentially for relaxation, it is completely stressfree, the sound feels like it it coming from everywhere yet not diffused or scattered. it ies perfect for the tradtional japanese music from shakuhachi or Koto. furthermore, it is very detailed and not muffled. i would best discribe the sound as "Silvery" and Sweet detailed without the stress. the closest type of loudspeaker i can associate this with is the legendary BBC LS3/5A which has a similar sonic characteristic YET, this speaker is not sensitive to placements whereas the LS3/5A requires proper positioning. please feel free to make use of my description for your promotion and website. i truly appreciated this fine piece of instrument and i would be very much inclined to try the larger lacquer version. as i am sure that with the larger size chassis, the sonic qualities will be deeper. I have a theory that i wish to try: since my amplifiers are a pair of monoblocs, it would be interesting to have an IDENTICAL PAIR of this speaker hooked on on each monobloc as a LEFT AND RIGHT CHANNEL. not sure how this sound like but would be worth the try. i will post you some pictures of my speaker along with the rest of my audio gears

Episode 【1】 September 2003, the god of bossa nova, Joao Girberto came to Japan　as first time. He played at one of most famous concert hall in Japan, named Tokyo International Forum. In where we M’s system got a chance to make the first introduction of MS1001. It was incredible opportunity for audio manufacturer even for SONY,PANASONIC, etc. Fortunately the producer who invited Joao to Japan loves this instrument MS1001 very much. So he gave us the chance to make a　presentation. And also he set MS1001 in Girberto’s suit room in the hotel in Tokyo. The legend was born from here.
He listened his lives himself during midnight after each concerts by　this speaker. He came to Japan only for live concert in this time. He　did not allow to make a CD. He defined that article in the contract. But what happened in Tokyo? After 4 concerts, meaning after listening 4 times his live concerts by this MS1001, Joao asked the　Japanese producer why they do not make a CD of live in Tokyo such　live and nice, beautiful. Miracle ! It happened. CD titled “Joao Girberto live in Tokyo” was produced and launched actually in Spring 2004. P.S. Joao came back to Japan October 2004, made a Japan tour, 6 concerts in Osaka, Tokyo. Needless to say MS1001 was accompanied　always with each concert.
